FAQs About Freedom K9

What is the Board and Train Program?
The Board and Train program is when your dog stays with us for training. They learn things like obedience and behavior improvement in a safe, home-like environment where we focus on making real progress.
Do you offer private dog training sessions?
Yes, we do! Our private dog training sessions are all about your dog’s unique needs. Whether it’s teaching them obedience, fixing bad behavior, or working on aggression, we work one-on-one to make sure they get the attention they need.
What is your approach to puppy training?
For puppies, we focus on basic skills like learning commands, being social with other dogs and people, and behaving well. We use positive training methods so your puppy grows up to be a well-behaved adult dog.
How do you handle aggressive dogs?
We help aggressive dogs by using positive training and behavior techniques. We focus on reducing their aggressive behavior, making them calmer and easier to manage in everyday situations.
Do you offer in-home dog training?
Yes, we do! In-home training means we come to your house and work with your dog in their own space. This helps with real-life situations, making the training stick long-term.
What is included in your free dog training evaluation?
Our free evaluation includes a one-on-one session where we check out your dog’s behavior, personality, and training needs. After that, we give you a personalized plan to help you reach your training goals.
What's the difference between private lessons and group training?
Private lessons are one-on-one sessions that are totally focused on your dog’s needs. Group training, on the other hand, is when your dog learns in a group with other dogs. We recommend private lessons for more specific issues.
Do you train dogs for personal protection?
Yes, we offer personal protection dog training. This means we teach your dog to protect you and your family. They’ll learn obedience and how to respond to threats in a controlled, reliable way.
Can you help with hyperactive dogs?
We can definitely help with hyperactive dogs! We focus on calming them down, teaching them to control their impulses, and helping them pay attention to commands so they behave better and use their energy in the right way.
What makes Freedom K9 different from other trainers?
Freedom K9 is a veteran-owned dog training business. We offer customized training plans that fit each dog’s needs. With years of experience and lots of care, we’re committed to helping your dog succeed in the best way possible.
